Chris Cone is a co-founder and principal of Traxion.
Chris is best described as an "executive entrepreneur" as he has successfully navigated both start-up and corporate environments throughout his career. After graduating from Santa Clara University, Chris co-founded Solutions for Global Access, an early player in the Web hosting industry. SGA grew rapidly and was acquired in 1995. With his move to Colorado in 1998, Chris went on to hold several senior level sales and business development positions in the medical equipment industry. In 2005, Chris founded Echoserve, a provider of technology and support services to the diagnostic imaging industry. Through acquisition and organic growth, Echoserve grew to over 200 employees before it was re-branded as Unisyn and sold to GE Healthcare in 2013.
Chris holds an MBA and serves on the board of St. Anthony Hospital, a member of Centura Health, the largest health network in Colorado. Chris is a member of the City of Golden Economic Development Commission. Chris is also an active runner, skier and road/mountain biker. He is married to his college sweetheart and is the proud father of three beautiful girls.
Jennifer Thoemke is co-founder and principal of Traxion.
Jennifer has over 20 years of leadership experience ranging from non-profit, small business, Corporate America, and most recently a start-up with the opening of Connects Workspace located in Golden, CO in June 2015. Spending twelve years in the mortgage industry before opening Connects established Jennifer as a strong, passionate, energetic leader who loves a challenge and seeks creative solutions to help others succeed. Ending her mortgage career as the Vice President of Secondary Marketing, Jennifer carried Pinnacle Mortgage Group from single loan sales to building a 500 million dollar mortgage portfolio, creating an income stream that placed Pinnacle in a position for a Fortune 500 Company to purchase the portfolio and company.
Volunteerism is a priority of Jennifer’s; she is on the board of Community Faith in Action, a part of the leadership team of Hillside Community Church and a sponsor of Golden Women in Business. Jennifer’s biggest passion is her husband of 23 years and her four children. On the weekend you will most likely find her throwing a party or inviting friends and family over.

Bud provides hands-on support to mid market companies as an advisor or Board member to improve sustainable profitability and scale through strategic planning, management processes or organizational design. He has been the CEO, President or owner of four companies in three industries over the last 25 years, and three of the companies he has led have been sold to outside investors.
