Many people are taking vacation this summer, but the world of startups is working full-time!
There are three events next week that showcase what’s happening in the greater Denver startup arena that also offer the chance for socializing and networking.
Rockies Venture Club HyperAccelerator
Monday, July 22 at 2pm
This is an opportunity to see the founders graduating from RVC's July 2019 HyperAccelerator present their business! All companies participating in this summer’s program provide a product or service that makes a positive social impact, including environment, education, mental health and aging.
Tuesday, July 23 at 5pm
The Energy Tech Hub is excited to host an event during URTeC 2019 in Denver with a focus on Energy Tech Acquisitions.
Serial-acquirer DrillingInfo will share insights on its acquisition process, provide a view from the eyes of an acquired firm, and describe the successful integration of acquired firms.
Defense Entrepreneurs Forum
Wednesday, July 24 at 6pm
The next Defense Entrepreneurs Forum will be held on July 24 at 6pm at Launch Pad Brewery located near Buckley AFB. The guest speaker will be Sid Saleh from the School of Mines faculty.
Sid is the Associate Director of the university's Entrepreneurship Center, where he develops programs and curricula in entrepreneurship and innovative problem-solving. He led the very successful Hacking for Defense program this spring in which student teams worked on solving problems for different government agencies.
DEF exists to promote a culture of innovation in the national security community, and to "Inspire - Connect - Empower" through monthly gatherings around the world and periodic regional events.
Thanks to everyone who continues to support local startups as an advisor, team member, investor or professional services provider!
